Backstory
With over three decades of expertise, Mr. Franz Schaumberger entered the glass business in 1990, initially focusing on machinery maintenance. Since 1994, he has been integral to production advancements, overseeing cutting, edge work, screen printing, digital printing, tempering, and lamination processes. Notably, Franz played a critical role in developing integrated blinds, structural glazing, and specialized coatings. In 2008, he founded Inno-Glas, and by 2010 became a shareholder in Eclipse Global India. From 2012 to 2022, he led a German glass company as CEO, achieving a turnover of €120M with 800 employees. Since 2022, Franz has served as CEO of Armatec, contributing to advancements in BIPV, PV, and tempering through initiatives like HST ONE.
